Red Alert! The klaxons sound, the ship shudders. A deep boom echoes through the hull. The view screen goes white, and for a moment you wonder if it's been damaged, and you're clearly not the only one either. Nearby the captain gets to his feet, steadying himself against the arm of his chair as the ship jerks again, nearly sending you all to the floor.
"Status report, Mr. Spock! What am I looking at here?"
"It appears to be snow, Captain. We are rapidly--"
There isn't time for anything else. The noise of impact drowns everything else out, and your awareness is snuffed out like a candle. You think that you are probably dead.
But to your surprise, consciousness eventually finds you again, aching and injured, but alive. There is still commotion going on all around you, intense, hushed conversation and a flurry of red, gold, and blue as officers from every department rush back and forth nearby. It's incredibly cold, and you are laying on something soft. Your hand reaches down to brush against it. Fur?
Then a new face leans over you, one human, and then another from a species you've never seen before.
"Hey," the new face says, looking sympathetic. "I see you're awake. Welcome to Sanctuary."
This ad is for our Star Trek plot! We are currently looking for canons from the original series (any incarnation) as well as OC Starfleet personnel! Come and join us and push the final frontier to a whole new definition!
